Ao Noi School Renovation for Inclusive Learning, Prachuap Khiri Khan

Ao Noi Wittayanikom School in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province has long served as a second home, nurturing the local youth. However, the school is currently facing a critical challenge due to a severe shortage of teaching staff. To maintain maximum instructional efficiency, the administration introduced a combined-classroom system, bringing two classes of the same grade level together for Thai language lessons under a single teacher.

The primary obstacle is that no existing classroom is large enough to accommodate two full classes simultaneously. Out of immediate necessity, the cafeteria was converted into a temporary learning space. Despite the dedication of the teachers and students, the open-air environment, echoing noise, and frequent distractions inevitably compromise the students' focus and learning retention.

As a branch of Thai Red Cross Society, Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Red Cross Chapter is committed to relieving hardship, elevating quality of life, and supporting youth education and health. Recognizing that continuing with temporary measures will undermine educational standards, the chapter proposed renovating an old, structurally sound vocational workshop building. The goal is to transform it into two modern, safe, and fully functional combined classrooms—moving students out of the cafeteria and back into a proper learning environment.

This renovation will resolve the immediate space deficit while laying a sustainable foundation for future generations in the Ao Noi community.

The project budget of 1,300,000 THB will fund structural repairs, electrical rewiring, fan installations, and essential classroom amenities. Once completed, students will benefit from a focused, quiet environment tailored for learning, while teachers can deliver lessons effectively in a safe and supportive facility.
