Red Cross Society, through Relief and Community Health Bureau, Thai Red Cross
Health Stations, the Provincial Red Cross Chapters, and its network of
volunteer partners, is urgently accelerating relief efforts to aid flood
victims in 10 southern provinces. The affected provinces include Surat Thani,
Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Phatthalung, Satun, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala,
and Narathiwat, as well as Hat Yai District in Songkhla province.
· Affected Areas: 92 districts, 581 sub-districts, and 4,146 villages.
· Affected Population: 719,858 households (1,917,521 people).

Red Cross Society is expediting the preparation, transportation, and delivery
of "Tharn Nam Jai" (River of Kindness) sets, which include:

meals
·
Drinking
water
·
Essential
survival items
·
Consumer
goods
·
Mattresses,
blankets, pillows, and mosquito nets
·
Medicine
They
are also providing psychosocial support to alleviate the suffering of flood
victims at the evacuation and temporary shelters in the areas.
